Overview

About lighting

Industrial lighting has moved almost entirely to LED, which uses less energy and lasts longer than metal-halide or sodium lamps. For buyers the important figures are lumen output, efficacy (lm/W), beam angle, colour temperature, IP and IK ratings, and driver quality.

Pakistani conditions add specific demands: high ambient temperatures, dust, and an unstable supply. Fixtures with good thermal design and surge protection tend to last longer in these conditions.

The lighting we supply

Each line below explains what it is, where it is used, and what to include in your enquiry so we can quote accurately.

01
LED High Bay

LED High Bay Lights for Warehouses and Production Halls

High bays light large spaces with mounting heights typically above 6 m. Round (UFO) and linear types are common; beam angle is chosen to suit mounting height and rack layout.

Typical applications

  • Warehouses
  • Factory floors
  • Workshops
  • Sports halls

What to specify

  • Wattage and lumens
  • Efficacy lm/W
  • Beam angle
  • CCT, e.g. 5000–6500 K
  • IP rating and surge protection

Buying noteSend mounting height and area size; a lighting layout gives the most reliable fixture count.

02
Flood Lights

LED Flood Lights for Yards, Facades and Perimeters

Flood lights illuminate open areas, building facades, loading bays and security perimeters. Optics range from wide flood to narrow beams for long throws.

Typical applications

  • Yards and loading bays
  • Perimeter security
  • Facades
  • Sports grounds

What to specify

  • Wattage and lumens
  • Beam angle
  • IP65 or higher
  • Mounting bracket
  • Surge protection

Buying noteDescribe the area and pole or wall mounting height.

03
Explosion Proof Lights

Explosion-Proof Lighting for Hazardous Areas

Hazardous areas with flammable gas, vapour or dust require certified luminaires. Certification (for example to IECEx or ATEX schemes) states the zone, gas group and temperature class the fitting is approved for.

Typical applications

  • Oil and gas facilities
  • Paint shops
  • Chemical stores
  • Grain and dust handling

What to specify

  • Zone classification
  • Gas group and T-class
  • Certification scheme
  • Lumens and wattage
  • Cable entry

Buying noteThe area classification must come from your hazardous area study; send it with the enquiry.

Emergency Lights

Emergency and Exit Lighting

Emergency luminaires provide light on mains failure, using an internal battery or a central system. Exit signs guide evacuation.

Typical applications

  • Escape routes
  • Exit signage
  • Plant rooms
  • Commercial buildings

What to specify

  • Maintained or non-maintained
  • Duration, e.g. 3 hours
  • Battery type
  • Self-test
  • Mounting

Buying noteConfirm required duration and whether a building code or client specification applies.

05
Street Lights

LED Street Lights for Roads and Industrial Estates

LED street lights light internal roads, estates and parking. Asymmetric optics spread light along the road; photocell or timer control saves energy.

Typical applications

  • Internal plant roads
  • Industrial estates
  • Parking areas
  • Housing colonies

What to specify

  • Wattage and lumens
  • Optic type
  • Pole height
  • Photocell or dimming
  • IP and IK rating

Buying noteSend road width, pole height and spacing for an accurate selection.

Selection guide

How to Choose Industrial Lighting

Lighting is chosen for the space, not by wattage alone.

  1. 1

    Lux target

The light level the task needs.

  2. 2

    Mounting height

Determines lumen output and beam angle.

  3. 3

    Environment

Dust, moisture, heat and hazardous classification.

  4. 4

    Supply quality

Surge protection matters on unstable supplies.
